Terms
This is a draft. It will be reviewed before Ramback goes on sale, and may change until then.
The short version: you pay once, use Ramback on two Macs and get every 1.x update. If it isn't for you, you get your money back within 30 days.
Who sells it
Ramback is made by one independent developer (“I”). It's sold through Polar, the merchant of record: Polar runs the checkout, takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles sales tax and VAT. Polar's own terms also apply to the purchase.
Your license
- A Pro license is a one-time purchase for one person, on up to 2 Macs at a time.
- A Team license is one key for up to 10 Macs, for people in the same team.
- Every 1.x update is included. If there's ever a 2.0, it may be a paid upgrade, with a discount for existing customers. Nothing renews.
- The free features need no license. Each install starts with 14 days of Pro. When it ends, Pro features pause and the free ones keep working.
Refunds
Within 30 days of buying, for any reason. Ask through your Polar receipt or write to me. The license stops working once the refund goes through.
Please don't
- Share, sell or publish your license key.
- Work around the license check or the trial.
- Redistribute Ramback, changed or unchanged.
Provided as is
Ramback stops processes and moves files to the Trash when you ask, or when a rule you turned on says so. It's built to be careful: databases need your confirm, builds are left alone, your files go to the Trash. Software still has bugs. Ramback is provided as is, without warranties, and as far as the law allows, my liability is limited to what you paid for it. Keep backups of anything you can't lose.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes with them. The new terms apply to purchases made after that date.
